English Pea & Fresh Ricotta Crostini

Our second day of dishes from Luisa’s Catering in San Carlos, CA is an ode to eating healthy food that is crazily delicious.

Frankly, I adore anything when it’s put on bread. When I was pregnant with my son, I ate chicken-liver crostini every week. In the summer, I throw tomatoes, mozzarella, and garlic sopped in oil on top of bread and call it lunch. While being tasty, these recipes are not terribly healthy. This pea and ricotta crostini is not only healthful, it literally tastes like summer. So do your mouth AND your body a favor and try this out – it’s the perfect foil to any hot day!
